Who is behind Wortpost

Wortpost is a small personal project, not a company. Questions, corrections and deletion requests all go to the same place: caanuyar@gmail.com.

What is stored about you

Only what the product needs to work:

• ·Your email address — so the stories can be sent.
• ·Your settings — which language you are learning, which language you want explanations in, your level, your topic and your chosen delivery days.
• ·Your stories and vocabulary — every story written for you, and the words it taught, so your archive and the spaced-repetition recycling work.
• ·A random secret token that identifies your archive links.

What is NOT stored

No password, because there are no accounts. No name, address, phone number or payment details. No advertising or analytics trackers, no cookies for tracking. Wortpost does not sell or share your data with anyone, and does not use it to train AI models.

Who processes it

To do its job, Wortpost passes data to a few service providers:

• ·Neon — hosts the database where your settings and stories live.
• ·Vercel — hosts the website and runs the scheduled job that writes your stories.
• ·Resend — delivers the emails; it receives your email address.
• ·Groq — runs the AI model that writes the stories; it receives your topic and level, but never your email address.

How the stories are made

Your stories are generated by an AI model from your topic and level. Each one is then checked automatically against teaching rules — length for your level, how often each target word appears, and the vocabulary list. A story that fails these checks is never sent. No human reads your stories before they reach you.

How long it is kept

Your data stays as long as you want the service. Unsubscribing stops the emails but keeps your archive, so you can come back later. Deleting your data removes everything immediately and permanently — the link to do that is at the bottom of every email.

Your rights

You can stop the emails, see everything stored about you (your archive and word list are exactly that), correct your settings in the survey, and delete everything with one click. If you are in the EU or Turkey, data protection law gives you these rights; if anything here does not work as described, email caanuyar@gmail.com and it will be fixed.

A word on links

Your archive is reached through a secret link sent to your inbox rather than a password. Anyone who gets hold of that link can read your stories, so treat it as private. It contains nothing but your stories and settings.
